We have had tremendous success with brand awareness campaigns using the city banner program for our non-profit clients. For last year's Old Town Playhouse 50! Campaign (50th), we featured snapshots from past productions with corresponding words like "Surprise!", "Laughter!", "Drama!", etc. The banners were installed on two blocks of State Street. Phil Murphy from the Old Town Playhouse reported an amazing response as a result of the banners.
The DDA should be proud of this program and continue to support it.
Cool story! I've always wondered about those banners, cost and the program!!
I want to express my appreciation for "the Ticker". It has covered some news that we just would not get elsewhere and your feature stories are outstanding, not a clinker in the bunch.
I am an avid reader and do hope that you keep up the good work.
I am curious, however , as to who or what is putting "the Ticker" together and presenting it.
I love this fabulous idea, such a great invention, they look sharp,a wonderful way to promote good books to the community for consideration and the recycling idea of the banners into bags is super. I guess you'd say I feel positive about this subject. Thank you to good minds at work.
You have some excellent writers. Please give them a byline.
