"Big Draw" Coming to Grand Traverse Region

For the first time ever this region will participate in The Big Draw, a global event designed to bring people together through drawing activities for all ages and abilities during the month of October. Partners include the Dennos Museum Center, Artcenter Traverse City, Blackbird Arts, Scrap TC, Oliver Art Center, NMC Art Club, NMC Extended Education Services, SEEDS, Grass River Natural Area, Art Rapids!, Jordan River Arts Council, Grand Traverse Conservation District and several local schools. More than 280,000 people around the world are expected to join in more than 1,000 drawing events.
