Closures Today For Garfield, Keystone Roads

City crews will close the eastern northbound lane of South Garfield Avenue today (Wednesday) at the intersection of Carver Street to accommodate repaving work on Carver. Carver will also be closed to traffic east of Garfield, and turns on Carver Street will be prohibited. Similar closures will occur next Wednesday and Thursday (June 1-2).

The Grand Traverse County Road Commission will also close the shoulder of Keystone Road between Birmley and River roads today, followed by a Keystone lane closure tomorrow (Thursday). The closures will accommodate shoulder repairs and tree removal in advance of planned resurfacing work.
