Courthouse Bell To Ring Again

April 27, 2015

A Restore the Bell rededication ceremony will be held this Sat., May 2, starting at 11:15am, at the Grand Traverse County courthouse. The bell will ring for the first time in six years at noon. The program will include speakers on the history of the courthouse, the effort to restore the bell and the importance of Law Day. There is no charge for the event and people are encouraged to bring their own chairs and gather on the north lawn.
