Crack Cocaine Discovery Leads To Arrests

March 27, 2015

Two individuals were arrested on multiple felony charges Wednesday after local law enforcement discovered $10,000 worth of crack cocaine at a Garfield Township residence. 88 grams of the drug were uncovered along with $3,500 in cash while a search warrant was being executed as part of an ongoing investigation into an attempted homicide at Munson Medical Center last week. A 64-year-old Traverse City man and 22-year-old Muskegon woman were arrested and lodged at Grand Traverse County Jail in connection with the search, which was conducted by the Traverse Narcotics Team with assistance from the Michigan State Police, Grand Traverse County Sheriff's Office and Traverse City Police Department.
