Curtain Rises On 12th Annual TC Film Festival

Today (Tuesday) marks the official start of the 12th annual Traverse City Film Festival, which runs through Sunday, July 31. This year's festival theme is "100 Years of the CineMAN," a celebration of incredible women in Hollywood. All the Official Selections in the U.S. Documentary and Fiction categories are directed by women, and all films shown at the Open Space are written and/or directed by women.

The festival kicks off tonight with the Opening Night film (Infinitely Polar Bear) and Party (8:30pm along a closed Front Street).

Nightly free film screenings at dusk at the Open Space include:
Tuesday: Pitch Perfect
Wednesday: Wayne's World
Thursday: Adam's Rib
Friday: Shrek
Saturday: Jurassic World
Sunday: Frozen
