The fifth annual Tails to Trails 5K takes place Sat., May 17, at 9 a.m. on the Vasa Pathway in Traverse City. Hosted by TART Trails, this four-paw fun run/ walk is a chance to enjoy the Vasa trails and mingle with other dog lovers. Dogs receive goodie bags and Pets and Peeps Photography will be taking complimentary photos for their owners. This is not a chip-timed event, but there will be a race clock and prizes for top finishers. Registration is $15 for individuals, $30 for families now through May 9. Then fees go up to $20/$35.
