Aug. 21, 2012

Traverse City Police arrested two suspects after an altercation in the 100 block of South Union Street on August 18, at 2:14 a.m. Here's what happened: a TC police officer observed an argument between two males near the House of Doggs restaurant. Upon exiting his patrol car, the officer was informed that one suspect had pulled a knife on another male and threatened him with it. The officer immediately detained the suspect, a 27-year-old male from Lake Ann, and was able to remove the knife from his pocket. The suspect was arrested for felonious assault. The man whom the suspect had threatened, a 40-year-old man from Oak Park, was arrested for drunk and disorderly, as well as possession of synthetic narcotics. Both suspects were lodged in the Grand Traverse County Jail.
