The FDIC has issued an enforcement action against three former Northwestern Bank officials. Harry "Scrub" Calcutt III, Richard Jackson, and William Green are accused of engaging in "unsafe or unsound banking practices and breaches of their fiduciary duties" and "a pattern of misconduct." The allegations primarily involve to a series of related loans the three were involved in during their time at the bank. The FDIC seeks a $125,000 cash penalty from Calcutt and $100,000 each from Jackson and Green, and also seeks to prevent the three from working in the banking industry again. In a written statement Calcutt said, "The accusations against me are unwarranted and untrue. Because of the ongoing legal proceedings, I can't comment on any specifics related to the charges that have been filed."
