Habitat for Humanity wants to relocate its ReStore to the former Western Concrete site on South Airport Road and has asked Garfield Township to review the concept.
The organization, which helps build homes for low-income people, operates a ReStore on Barlow Road and supports its mission by selling used building materials at the ReStore.
The group hopes to relocate the store to the northeast corner of South Airport and Park roads. The question for the township is whether that use would generate too much traffic under the current mixed use industrial zoning designation. The township has not made a determination.
