Kingsley Man Arrested For Abuse, Assault, Disorderly

Grand Traverse County Sheriff deputies arrested a 37-year-old Kingsley man at the Cherrywood Mobile Home Park in Kignsley after an incident last weekend. Deputies had been called to the park after a report of a man walking around shooting a pellet gun. Witnesses also said the man had been walking around with a young boy who also had what was described as a gun, and that the two were pointing the guns at each other. A witness said she then saw the man shoot at a tree.

Deputies located the man and subsequently confiscated three BB guns. The man had a blood alcohol level of .16. The man was arrested on charges of Child Abuse 4th Degree, Domestic Assault, and Disorderly Conduct. The boy was turned over to his mother.
