Leelanau Candidates' Forum Sept. 29

The League of Women Voters Leelanau County and the Leelanau Peninsula Chamber of Commerce will host a candidate forum for the Board of Commissioner race in Districts 1, 6 and 7 on September 29 at the Elmwood Township fire hall. Candidates Anthony Ansorge, Melinda Lautner, John O'Neill and Carolyn Rentenbach have confirmed their attendance. Judge Thomas Phillips of the 86th District Court will moderate the forum.

A meet and greet with the candidates will begin at 6:15pm; the forum will begin at 7pm. The fire hall is located at 210080 E. Lincoln Rd., Traverse City, west of East Cherry Bend Road. Light refreshments will be served. The event is open to the public.
