Local Breadmaker Expanding

April 29, 2013

Stone House Bread in Traverse City has added 500 square feet to its production facility to help the artisan bread company meet the demands of its growing retail outlets, particularly in Lansing, Grand Haven and Muskegon. The company was first founded in 1995 in Leland, where its cafe is still in operation. Each loaf of bread is hand-formed and proofed in willow baskets or Belgian linen, and is made with organic flour and no preservatives.
