Michigan Radio's Stateside To Host Live TC Taping

Aug. 25, 2016

Michigan Radio’s talk show Stateside will travel to Traverse City on Saturday, September 17 for a special live audience show at the InsideOut Gallery.

The first-ever ‘Up North’ edition of the show will tape live from 7:30 to 9pm. Host Cynthia Canty (pictured) will focus on topics and guests impacting northern Michigan, including a conversation with former NASA astronaut Jerry Linenger, a discussion on what Traverse City should look like in the next 20 years, and live music by Traverse City singer-songwriter Benjamin James. The event will also feature a post-show meet-and-greet with Canty.

Admission to the taping is free, but space is limited. Advance registration is required to attend. Stateside airs Monday-Friday from 3-4pm across Michigan, including on Interlochen Public Radio (91.5 FM Traverse City; 89.7 FM Manistee/Ludington; 90.1 FM Harbor Springs/Petoskey). Stateside has previously hosted road show broadcasts from Grand Rapids and Detroit.
