National Award For Local Sailing Program

Traverse Area Community Sailing (TACS) was recently presented with the Outstanding Community Sailing Program Award – selected from 650 community sailing programs across the country. The annual award from US Sailing recognizes a program that has made notable contributions to promote public access sailing.
TACS is a nonprofit organization that has been providing sailing opportunities in the Grand Traverse region for 20 years. Registration for summer 2015 classes is now open.
