National Fundraising Expert Returning For TC Workshop

Feb. 6, 2016

National fundraising expert and trainer Andy Robinson is returning to Traverse City next month. NorthSky Nonprofit Network will host an all-day, two-part workshop series: Creating (and Using) Your Fundraising Plan, and Big Gifts for Small Groups: Creating a Major Gifts Plan, both presented by Robinson. The workshops will he held on Thurs., Mar. 3, 9am-4 pm, at the Park Place Hotel in Traverse City.

“Like anything else in life, fundraising works better if you have a plan — and even better if you follow it,” says Robinson.

In the morning session, Creating (and Using) Your Fundraising Plan, Robinson will help participants build an annual fundraising calendar, identify the best mix of income for their organization and ways to benchmark their results, and develop strategies for small, volunteer-based organizations. In his second session, Big Gifts for Small Groups: Creating a Major Gifts Plan, participants will go step-by-step through planning, implementing and evaluating a major donor plan.

Individuals as well as nonprofit staff, board and volunteers are welcome to attend. The cost to attend only the morning or the afternoon session is $50; $90 to attend both. Space is limited, registration is requested by Feb. 26. More details about the workshop and registration is available here.
