Night Closures On East Front Street This Week

Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) crews will be conducting night soil borings on East Front Street all this week, requiring lane closures between 9pm and 6am.

Crews will be working between Murchie Bridge (next to West Bay Beach, a Holiday Inn Resort) and Garfield Avenue. Crews are tentatively scheduled to work in the outside lanes Monday night, the inside lanes Tuesday and Wednesday nights, and on side road approaches Thursday night. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times. No side road lanes will be closed.

The project is scheduled to be completed by Friday.
