Seminar For Would-Be Candidates

Thinking about getting involved in local government and politics, but not sure how? The Traverse City Chamber is hosting a Local Government Candidate Seminar on Tues., July 14, 9-11am. The free program covers nominating petition procedures, building a campaign, media relations and the responsibilities of holding public office. Speakers will include City Commissioner Gary Howe and former commissioner and campaign manager Matthew Schmidt. Reserve a seat by emailing Chamber Government Relations Director Kent Wood here.
