Solon Twp Crash Sends Three to Hospital

A two-car crash in Solon Township sent both drivers and a 12 year-old passenger to Munson Medical Center. The accident occurred on East Traverse Highway at S. Cedar Road at 7:40pm. Jeramy Seabolt, 39, of Kalkaska, was southbound on S Cedar Road and did not stop at the stop sign. His vehicle struck a westbound vehicle driven by Trista Erickson, 41, of Interlochen. Twelve year-old Kadyn Duford, 12, was a passenger in Erickson’s minivan. All three sustained multiple injuries and were transported to Munson by Cedar Rescue and Northflight.

Leelanau County Sheriff deputies say it was raining at the time of the crash and alcohol was not a factor.
