TC Tourism Hires Firm For Branding Refresh

Traverse City Tourism has entered into a contract with travel and hospitality marketing firm MMGY Global to assist the agency with a branding refresh.

Acoording to a statement from Traverse City Tourism, MMGY Global will assist the organization "in refreshing our Traverse City destination branding. With 35 years in marketing for travel and tourism, MMGY has worked on some of the top brands in the industry." MMGY Global's client list includes American Express, the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Bermuda Tourism Authority, Fort Myers & Sanibel beaches, and more, according to the company's website.

Stakeholder meetings will be held in May for Traverse City Tourism members to provide input on the branding process. Details will be posted on the member extranet on Traverse City Tourism's website. Traverse City Tourism representatives declined to discuss the anticipated cost of the MMGY Global contract and rebranding campaign.
