Two Arrested for Maintaining Leelanau Drug House

The Leelanau County Sheriff's Office, in cooperation with the Traverse Narcotics Team, executed two search warrants Thursday on two homes, resulting resulted in two individuals being arrested for maintaining a drug house.

The first residence, on French Road in Centerville Township, uncovered chemicals, components and apparatus used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine and a large quantity of marijuana and additional drug paraphernalia. One man and one woman were arrested in connection with this investigation. A second home located in Suttons Bay Township, belonging to one of the suspects, was searched as well.

The male suspect, a 38 year-old from Cedar, and the female suspect, a 36 year-old from Suttons Bay, are lodged in the Leelanau County Jail for maintaining a drug house. Additional charges are pending.
