The Grand Traverse Conservation District is offering a "Fall Color Kayak Tour on the Boardman River" with river expert Steve Largent. Paddle the new river channel and learn about continued efforts with the dam removal. Kayaks provided. The Inland Seas Education Association will be offering fall color tours aboard the ex-Navy motor whaleboat Lake Sturgeon in Suttons Bay. The hour-long cruise is offered Oct. 5 and Oct. 12 at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m. Tickets are $12 per person. Charters available. Call 271.3077 for reservations.
