In jazz-age Chicago, two rival vaudevillian murderesses vie to be represented by the same sleazy lawyer. In so doing, they hope to not only avoid the hangman’s noose but win their freedom while becoming “celebrity criminals” to pave their way back to vaudeville, fame, & fortune.
