Country Music Star Brett Young To Perform At Cherry Festival

By Beth Milligan | Jan. 22, 2019

Country music star Brett Young will perform at the National Cherry Festival on July 1 - the first performer to be confirmed for the 2019 event.

Festival organizers announced Monday that Young will appear in Traverse City as part of his national "Ticket To L.A." tour. The Ticket to L.A. album, Young's second studio album, debuted in December at number one on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart. Young also had three number-one hits on the country charts from his self-titled debut album, including Like I Loved You, Sleep Without You, and In Case You Didn't Know. The music video for In Case You Didn’t Know garnered over 160 million views and was number one on Vevo’s Country Chart for six consecutive weeks. Young is the only artist to have two videos on Vevo’s Top Country Videos Chart for 2017.

Tickets for Young's National Cherry Festival appearance go on sale Friday, January 25 online. General admission tickets are $35, while reserved tickets are $50. A limited number of VIP deck passes - which include complementary adult beverages, a full buffet meal, and an elevated view of the Bay Side Music Stage - are available for $135.
