Sidewalk Construction Underway On Fourteenth Street

By Beth Milligan | July 15, 2021

The City of Traverse City and Elmer’s Crane and Dozer will be reconstructing sidewalk ramps on West Fourteenth Street at Pine Street and Veterans Drive over the next week.

Work began Wednesday and is expected to be substantially complete by Tuesday. The affected streets will remain open to two-way traffic with lane closures and traffic shifts utilizing the left-hand turn lanes. Delays can be expected. Drivers are advised to use caution in and around the work zones to promote pedestrian and worker safety. Appropriate signage and barricades will be in place.
