TCAPS, Peninsula Boards Set Joint Meeting On Old Mission School

The boards of Traverse City Area Public Schools and Peninsula Township will host a joint public meeting Monday, August 29 to hear a presentation from representatives of a donor group that wants to help keep Old Mission Peninsula School open.
The meeting will take place at 6pm in the Old Mission Peninsula School gymnasium at 2699 Island View Road. The meeting will be open to the public, but will not be televised. Representatives of the anonymous donor group hoping to donate $800,000 to help keep the school open are expected to discuss the details of the proposed donation and how it might be leveraged to create a sustainable model of operations for the property.
