TedX TC Launches "Salon Series"

TEDxTraverse City, a yearly conference at Northwestern Michigan College designed around "Ideas Worth Spreading," is launching a salon series – a set of three informal TED-style short talks leading up to the main event on May 14. The first talk is this Thurs., Jan. 30, 5-7 p.m., at the InsideOut Gallery in TC's Warehouse District. It will feature Mary Stewart Adams of the International Dark Sky Park in Emmet County and Jerry Dobek of NMC's Rogers Observatory. Tickets are $5.
