Climate Change Panel Discussion Slated

On Wed., April 12, Citizens' Climate Lobby (CCL) will present "Saving Our Home: A Conversation About Climate, Energy and Economic Opportunity" at the State Theatre in Traverse City.

Seth Bernard will moderate a film and a panel discussion with area leaders discussing climate change and its impact on local businesses, agriculture, sports, natural resources, tourism and health.

The panel will include: Jim MacInnes, president, Crystal Mountain Resort; Nikki Rothwell, center coordinator, Northwest Michigan Horticulture Research Center; Scott Tucker, superintendent, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore; Dr. Elizabeth Del Buono, director of surgical pathology, Munson Medical Center; Annie Lively, senior, Glen Lake High School; Brandon Fewins, N. Michigan regional nanager, Senator Debbie Stabenow's office.

The event will be Wednesday, April 12 from 6-7:30pm and iis free and public.
