Hagerty Named To 'Great' Workplace List

For the second year in a row, Hagerty in Traverse City has been named to Fortune magazine's Great Place to Work list for medium-sized workplaces. Hagerty is ranked sixth out of 25, moving up from a #13 ranking in 2013.

The selection process included an employee survey and in-depth questionnaire about benefit programs and company practices.

"Our employees are responsible for our success and we put a lot of effort into fostering a fulfilling workplace environment," says President and CEO McKeel Hagerty in a company statement. "I am especially honored by the knowledge that our employees continue to have a high level of trust in Hagerty. Our trust index rose three percent from 2013, showcasing that 91 percent of our workforce have sincere love for their work."

Hagerty was also cited for its dedication to professional and personal development, connections with enthusiasts with the classic car community and in the communities in which employees live and work, and transparency and communication from the CEO, senior leadership and direct managers.
