NMC Faculty Member's Death Ruled Drowning

A final autopsy report was released Tuesday on Sonja Olshove, a NMC faculty member whose body was discovered on an Old Mission Peninsula beach last month.

The report concludes Olshove died of accidental drowning. A toxicology report showed no signs of drugs or alcohol in her system. The report also concludes there were no signs of foul play in Olshove's death.

The autopsy was conducted by a forensic pathologist at Western Michigan University.
