TC Sees Fifth Overdose Reversal In Past Year

Officers who were carrying an opiate overdose reversal drug revived a 22-year-old Traverse City man who overdosed on heroin.

Traverse City police administered Naloxone to the man after he was reported to have suffered an overdose, the fifth save notched by officers since they started carrying the kits last year, says Capt. Jim Bussell.

Police were called to the 500 block of East Front Street Saturday at 3:50pm where someone called about a man in trouble. Police revived the man and took him to Munson Medical Center.
