Break-In Interrupted at Frenchie's, more
Traverse City Police responded to a breaking and entering in progress at Frenchies Famous, 619 Randolph Str. on August 11 at 7:41 a.m. The business owner had called 911 when he found a male suspect inside the eatery. The suspect, a 56-year-old TC man who was intoxicated, had forced open a window on the business to gain entry, and appeared to have consumed food and spent the night inside. He fled the business on foot, but police located him near Vine and Randolph streets. He was lodged in the Grand Traverse County Jail on breaking and entering charges. Another larceny suspect was arrested August 11, after two suspects were found trying to gain entry into parked cars in the 150 block of Pine Street. Officers caught one of the suspects inside a vehicle and detained him. The suspect, a 27-year-old TC man was arrested on attempted larceny from an auto. A second suspect, a 25-year-old TC female, was arrested on a bond violation charge. Both suspects were lodged in the Grand Traverse County Jail.
