Brown Bridge Road Closed Near Arbutus Road

The Grand Traverse County Road Commission announced Monday that the culvert bridge that crosses the Boardman River on Brown Bridge Road (near Arbutus Hill Road) will be closed until further notice.

Crews have been examining all crossings since the storm and have identified an issue with this bridge. They are starting sand bag stabilization this morning and then will decide next steps. Until it has been repaired and deemed safe for crossing, it will remain closed.
