Community Foundation Awards Over $300,000 to 21 Organizations

The Grand Traverse Regional Community Foundation awarded $334,090 in grants to 21 organizations across Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, and Leelanau Counties and the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians.

According to a statement, the grants, ranging from $5,000 to $40,000, were awarded to:

-Mancelona Food Pantry and Resale Store
-Communities In Schools of Northwest Michigan
-Housing Trust of Benzie
-LIFT Teen Center
-Paddle Antrim
-Housing North
-Leelanau Peninsula Chamber of Commerce Foundation
