Downtown Fall Art Fair Will Focus on Fine Art, Take Place in Clinch Park

The Downtown Traverse City Association (DTCA) is "reimagining" its annual fall art fair, planned for September 12-13 in Clinch Park. This year's event "marks a shift from the traditional arts and crafts format of previous years, focusing on fine art," according to a DTCA Release, where "visitors will find original work in a wide range of media, including painting, ceramics, jewelry, wood, fiber, and more."

The free event will feature a "curated collection of dozens of fine artists set along the shores of West Grand Traverse Bay," according to the DTCA. The Downtown Fine Art Fair will take place Saturday, September 12 from 10am to 6pm and Sunday, September 13 from 10am to 4pm.

"We're excited to introduce a different kind of art fair this season," says TC Downtown Development Authority Director of Events & Engagement Sara Klebba. "By focusing on fine art in a scenic waterfront setting, we're creating an experience that invites people to connect with artists, explore downtown, and enjoy one of the most beautiful times of year in Traverse City."
