Four Arrested In Prostitution Bust

Grand Traverse Sheriff's Office deputies charged one woman with solicitation and three others with marijuana possession in a prostitution bust at a Garfield Township hotel Thursday.

A Sheriff's detective posed as a potential client to a 19-year-old Muskegon woman the department had identified was soliciting for prostitution in the area. After taking the woman into custody, detectives investigated the hotel from which she was operating. Two Muskegon men, ages 22 and 32, were stopped in a vehicle as they were attempting to leave the hotel. Both men were arrested for possession of marijuana. A fourth suspect, a 23-year-old Muskegon woman, was found in a hotel room connected to the group and arrested for possession of marijuana.

All of the suspects were taken to Grand Traverse County Jail. Further information on the suspects will be released following their arraignment, according to the Sheriff's Office.
