Four Muskegon Men Arrested for Drug Deliveries to TC
Four men from the Muskegon area have been arrested and are facing multiple charges for allegedly delivering drugs to Traverse City on a regular basis.
Traverse Narcotics Team (TNT) detectives identified several individuals last week who were suspected of traveling to the Traverse City area from downstate to deliver large quantities of drugs. Surveillance was conducted in Garfield Township and a traffic stop made by members of the Michigan State Police (MSP) 7th District Emergency Support Team.
During the traffic stop, four men were arrested after the following items were located in their rental car:
> 114 grams of crystal methamphetamine
> 58 grams of cocaine
> 31 grams of fentanyl
> 6 grams of heroin
> 2.5 grams of crack cocaine
> 5 oxycodone pills
> $1,860 in U.S. currency
All four men in the vehicle - a 20-year-old, a 22-year-old, a 27-year-old, and a 29-year-old - were lodged at the Grand Traverse County Jail. They are each being held on a $75,000 bond for possession with the intent to deliver methamphetamine, possession with the intent to deliver cocaine, possession with the intent to deliver fentanyl, and possession with the intent to deliver heroin. Additional charges are expected as the investigation continues.
