Fox Grand Traverse Renovations
Fox Grand Traverse is investing nearly $1 million in renovations to its Traverse City campus. Following a decision late last year to let the Alfa Romeo and Fiat brands go, resources were put toward expansion of the body shop and improvements in service and parts. The new Collision Center expands from nine to 14 bays. The service center is undergoing a complete renovation, including a new climate-controlled area for service staff and customers. A new rack system in the parts department increased inventory capacity by 25 percent.
As a part of the changes, the used car department now also has an indoor showroom within the Fox Grand Traverse Ford Lincoln showroom.
The work is being led by Dave Whiteford Architects and Comstock Construction. All work is expected to be complete in July.
Fox Grand Traverse also has a new General Sales Manager. Tom Gordon (pictured, right), who previously served in that capacity at Williams Chevrolet, came on board this spring. Gordon reports to John Cueter (pictured, left), who continues to oversee all Fox dealerships in Traverse City, as well as those in Cadillac, Charlevoix, and the Upper Peninsula.
“I’m delighted to be coming to work for a dealership that embraces the same values as I do: transparency and a customer-focused environment. It’s a great fit,” Gordon said.
