Jet Has Landing Gear Alert at TVC

A corporate jet had an issue with its landing gear indicator Sunday at Cherry Capital Airport, requiring temporary road closures around the airport while crews addressed the issue. No one was harmed in the incident, with the jet landing safely.

According to Airport CEO Kevin Klein, the jet made a lower approach in order for the airport tower to check out its landing gear after getting a landing gear indication. "The gear was fine and down," Klein says, allowing the jet to circle in and land safely.

The temporary road closures around TVC were a precautionary measure, Klein says. There were no delays or disruptions to other flights, according to Klein, with airport operations resuming as normal.
