Join Us for September Recess at Camp Greilick!

Recess is BACK with a new format for 2026 featuring four events per year - one per quarter - to make each event bigger and better than ever! Every Recess event will include a giveaway of a $100 downtown Traverse City shopping spree and an annual subscription to the TC Business News, plus host prizes always valued at over $250.

For our fall kickoff event, join The Ticker at Camp Greilick on Wednesday, September 2 for outdoor adult camp fun at Grand Traverse County's newest park! Enjoy disc golf demos, walking tours, cabin tours, live music, and demonstrations from North Sky Raptor Sanctuary. Attendees will also enjoy delicious Peegeo's pizza, Short's Brewing Company beer, snacks, and s'mores - the perfect camp treat!

Attendees will be entered to win great prizes, including:

Admission to Recess is $15 and is open to the public. The event goes from 5pm to 7pm. Camp Greilick is located in East Bay Township at 4754 Scout Camp Road (take Hobbs Hwy to Scout Camp Road). Attendees are encouraged to carpool, as parking is limited.
