New Goodwill CEO

Dan Buron has been named the new Chief Executive Officer for Goodwill Northern Michigan. Buron brings more than 15 years of leadership experience with Goodwill organizations throughout the U.S. This includes time at the national office in the Washington D.C. area, the Hawaii Goodwill, as the Chief Workforce Development Officer for Goodwill in Grand Rapids, and most recently as the CEO for Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Michigan in Adrian.

“Goodwill Northern Michigan is a well-respected and innovative organization that I am honored to be joining. It is a leader in the community with a strong social enterprise and commitment to their Mission,” says Buron. “I look forward to working with the team to build off these successes.”

Buron officially starts his new position with Goodwill on July 18. He will succeed Cecil McNally, who will retire from his leadership role as CEO after 13 years with Goodwill Northern Michigan. McNally will stay on through September to aid in the transition of leadership.
