Nine High School Athletes to Watch in 2026-27

A whole lot of state titles have been making their way to northern Michigan in recent years, on both individual and team levels. How many more will the 2026-27 school year bring? We take a look at nine outstanding local high school athletes we absolutely think have chances of bringing home some hardware in the months to come:
- Summer, Cam, Dane, and Brock Lewandowski (aka the Quads): Traverse City West Senior High; alpine skiing and lacrosse
- Elliana McClellan: Traverse City St. Francis High School; tennis
- Jenna Middleton: Kingsley High School; volleyball
- Stefi Reskevics: Harbor Springs High School; soccer, basketball, and cross-country
- Will Richmond: Traverse City Central High School; soccer
- Blake Springstead: Elk Rapids High School; golf
