Old Mission Traders Closing Retail Store
Old Mission Traders is closing its downtown Traverse City location at 215 East Front on February 26. Owners Jamie and Nick Roster will move production of their handcrafted artisan foods to a facility on Hastings Street. Their Cherry Stop and Old Mission Traders products will continue to be available for purchase in downtown Traverse City at Red Ostrich/Great Lakes Bath and Body and via the website www.oldmissiontraders.com.
"We are excited for this opportunity to focus on production of our handcrafted food products and distributing them throughout Michigan and beyond, while maintaining a presence downtown," says Jaime Roster.
A year ago the Rosters announced www.traverseticker.com/story/cherry-stop-closing-old-mission-traders-opening their closing of The Cherry Stop and opening of Old Mission Traders to expand their product line using Michigan-grown fruits and other specialty items.
With the move, the business will also be able to expand its private label, product development and co-packing services, Roster adds. Old Mission Traders will hold a storewide clearance sale through the month of February.
