There's A New Ticker In Town

Hello, Leelanau! The Ticker is expanding! An all-new Leelanau Ticker will debut one week from today (Mon., March 2). Like its Traverse Ticker sister publication, the Leelanau Ticker will feature all-local news, events, real estate, and more — completely free to its readers. The Leelanau Ticker email will come (free) to subscribers every Monday and Thursday morning, with news and events available anytime on the website and social media. There’s a lot going on in Suttons Bay, Leland, Glen Arbor, Northport, and many places in between — and we can’t wait to showcase the people, places, news, happenings, and issues exclusive to The County.

Leading this new venture is Leelanau Peninsula native Emily Betz Tyra, formerly editorial director of MyNorth, who will serve as editor.

If you’re interested in hearing about limited display advertising options, email us here. If you have news to report, email us here. If you’re interested in receiving the Leelanau Ticker every Monday and Thursday in your email, do nothing — initially, all Traverse Ticker subscribers will be automatically subscribed, with an option to unsubscribe.

We’re honored by the reception the Traverse Ticker has gotten since its modest launch a decade ago — and excited for its first expansion beyond Traverse City.
