"30 For 30" For Crisis Services

May 6, 2016

Child and Family Services of Northwest Michigan will run its "30 for 30" campaign today (Fri., May 6) from 8am-8pm to support Third Level Crisis Services in northern Michigan. Last year, Third Level fielded more than 30,000 contacts through its 24/7 crisis services. Around 100 calls each week are related to suicide prevention. The campaign is hoping to raise $1 for each of those crisis calls, or $30,000 for 30,000 calls.

The campaign is also part of tonight's Downtown Art Walk in Traverse City, displaying children’s and youth art at Grand Traverse Pie Company on Park Street.

There are three ways to donate: call 855.241.2230, text 231.465.5237 or go online.
