Black Star Farms Launches Food Line

Feb. 16, 2017

Black Star Farms has launched its own line of branded food products. The farm, restaurant and winery/distillery is offering Black Star Farms Hard Apple Cider Granola, Black Star Farms Leelanau Coffee Granola, Black Star Farms Sweet Potato Cashew Crackers and Black Star Farms Lentil Sea Salt Crackers at various retail locations.

The products were first seen on store shelves this past holiday season in Tom’s Food Markets and Bayside Market as well as Black Star Farm’s tasting rooms; now, thanks to a partnership with Cherry Capital Foods, they will be going statewide the end of this month.

“We are happy to have the partnership of Cherry Capital Foods who, along with Michigan State University Product Center, have been working with us through the development and launch stages of products that, prior to this, only our Inn guests were enjoying,” says Michael Lahti, who has headed up the project at Black Star Farms.
