Community Celebration Planned For New Health Clinic

Traverse Health Clinic is planning a free public celebration September 13 to "thank the community" for its support of a new $1.5 million facility scheduled to open this fall.

Traverse Health Clinic will host the party in partnership with Fox Grand Traverse at the dealership's location at 3464 N. US-31 South from 5-7pm. The event will offer food, music and a silent auction to help support the clinic's ongoing needs. Traverse Health Clinic is planning to move this fall from its current location at 3147 Logan Valley Road into a expanded new facility in the former Cherryland Antique Mall space at 1719 Garfield Avenue, with doors set to open to patients October 24.

Blueprints and renovation photos of the new facility, which is nearly double the size of the clinic's existing space, will be on display at the community celebration.
