Ford Releases Video Of Lake Michigan SUP Ride

A three-minute video documenting a historic stand-up paddleboard ride across Lake Michigan this summer by five Traverse City men was released by Ford Motor Company Monday. Ford sponsored the riders - who paddled continuously for 60 miles across Lake Michigan from Algoma, Wisconsin to Frankfort, Michigan in 24 hours - as part of the company's "Go Further" campaign. Kwin Morris, Jeff Guy, Joel Mueller, Nick Durga and Joe Lorenz made the journey to raise awareness and funds for Alliance for the Great Lakes, a nonproft conservation organization dedicated to the protection of the Great Lakes.

Ford followed the group in spotter ships with a full production crew - including camera-outfitted drones - to document the journey. To watch the video, click here.
