History Center Explores Legends Today

Today (Saturday) at the History Center of Traverse City: Dr. Barry Mehler of Ferris State University speaks on "Anti-Semitism in America, the High Tide: 1921 - 1940" from 3 - 5 p.m. Dr. Mehler's presentation ties into the History Center's spring 2013 Legends Exhibit which features Dr. Harry Weitz, the first radiologist in northern Michigan and also Jewish. Also launching today, the new, traveling exhibit "The Grand Traverse Region: Vibrant Reinvention." Free, free-will donations appreciated.
