Input Wanted: Division Street Concepts

May 27, 2015

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is seeking public input on several concepts for improving the Division Street corridor. The conceptual alternatives can be viewed online here or at the Governmental Center or Traverse Area District Library. MDOT has been studying traffic solutions to the congested thoroughfare since last fall along a 1.2 mile stretch beginning at Fourteenth Street and ending at Grandview Parkway.

Public comments can be submitted on the various plans through June 15. The next step in the process will be to examine the feasibility of each concept and "work toward the preferred alternative, and what fits the road and the community," according to MDOT.
